A closer look at the Luminox Evo Navy Seal Blackout 3051
On the quest for the best military watch, we come across a a fantastic tactical watch. Good enough for the Navy Seals, good enough for anything else. Besides the Navy Seals, you’ll see this watch utilized by the Secret Service, South Korean F-16 Pilot, as well as the FBI. If you’re looking for a quality Military watch, consider the Luminox Evo navy seal.
Features:
The Luminox series of watches have always been known for their “Always visible light” technology. The Luminox Evo definitely does not skimp out on this feature. The glow markings around the watch will stay lit for about 25 years in most conditions. There are no special buttons to press, the glow is always there. Simplicity is a virtue, and this watch is simply and easy to read, with its distinctly bold numerals. A military watch has to be durable and strong, this watch is just that. The lightweight accompanying this quality is a true testimate to the quality materials used in the construction of the Blackout 3051.

Suunto Core Sports/ Military Watch
As an avid hiker and outdoorsman, let me start off with my favorite feature; the Altimeter. I was simply pleased to find out that it knows altitude, knowing its not the first watch to do so, but I was even more impressed to find that it RECORDS this data too! This is great especially if you are hiking for fitness and you want to know how high up you have traveled, or you are out exploring the wilderness, using this in conjunction with a topographical map. It is advertized as a sports watch, but I see many uses extending into the military world.
G-SHOCK GA 100-1A1 Military Watch Review
AS TIME GOES BY—THE G-SHOCK GA 100-1A1 MILITARY SERIESWRISTWATCH
In this, the Age of the Cellphone, it’s getting harder and harder for wristwatches to make their mark. With all the money that one spends on cellphones, computers, tablets and other digital paraphernalia, all equipped with the own built-in clocks—some even styled to look like a watch face—a watch has to do a little bit more than just be accurate; increasingly, watches, which are in part so rooted to function, have to do a bit more to embrace form and look, feel, and come across as something stylish and becoming. Wristwatches, especially those geared towards men, have to be more than simply “constant as the northern star,” but likewise a balance of “all that’s best of dark and bright”—sturdy and still fashionable. In that spirit, the new Casio G-Shock GA 100-1A1 Military Series tries to strike such a balance between form and function.
